Mastercard announced on Oct. 26 that it has formed a multipronged partnership with YouTube creator Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, to develop new consumer and creator co‑branded cards along with related experiences and tools.
The companies said the initiative—framed as a project for creators and the audiences they reach—will combine Mastercard’s payments network, digital capabilities and loyalty expertise with Beast Industries’ creator ecosystem. The stated goal is to help “creators and the next generation turn ideas into opportunity and build stronger financial futures on their own terms.”
“The next generation is shaping culture and creating new forms of commerce at the same time,” said Jill Kramer, chief marketing and communications officer at Mastercard.
What Mastercard says it will deliver
Mastercard and Beast Industries said the collaboration will include:
- new consumer and creator co‑branded card programs;
- experiences tied to those cards; and
- tools intended to help creators manage and scale businesses built on audience and influence.
Mastercard framed the effort as part of a broader aim to “connect and protect” 500 million people and small businesses on pathways to financial health by the end of the decade. The company said combining its payments infrastructure with a creator network can help turn reach into business revenue and short‑term momentum into longer‑term opportunity.
MrBeast’s recent moves into financial services
Donaldson has expanded beyond content into business and financial projects in recent years. The announcement noted earlier moves including a 2024 collaboration with MoneyLion on the Prime Video competition series “Beast Games,” and a trademark filing last fall for “MrBeast Financial.” The companies also referenced Beast Industries’ acquisition in February of a fintech named Step.

Mastercard characterized the partnership as a response to creators’ evolving roles. “Today’s creators are also founders,” the company said, noting many hire employees, introduce products and connect directly with customers worldwide.
The announcement did not disclose product details such as card issuers, rewards structures, fees, eligibility rules or launch dates. Mastercard and Beast Industries described the work as an effort to bridge culture and commerce and to open “new pathways from ideas and influence to meaningful economic opportunity.”
Financial‑services regulators, card issuers and consumer advocates have been watching a broader trend of brand partnerships and creator‑led financial products for how they combine marketing reach with financial services. This deal adds a major card network and one of the most prominent digital creators to that trend.
